Public seminar "Disinformation: Challenges for the West, the EU and Denmark"

Disinformation is a widespread strategy in the 21st century, which is becoming increasingly important as digital developments and new technologies evolve. From a Western perspective, disinformation campaigns practised by Russia and China as part of a growing great power competition pose a significant challenge.

To learn more about disinformation and how the challenge can be addressed, the Centre for Military Studies (CMS) in collaboration with the Centre for European Politics (CEP) at the Department of Political Science invite you to a public seminar with the participation of Denmark's leading experts in the field.

Panellists:

  • Søren Liborious, Chief Consultant, EU Strategic Communications Unit
  • Yevgeniy Golovchenko, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, UCPH
  • Jeanette Serritzlev, Military Analyst, Danish Defence Academy
  • André Ken Jakobsson, Assistant Professor, Centre for War Studies, SDU

Welcome by Marlene Wind (Head of Centre, Centre for European Politics).

Kristian Søby Kristensen (Head of Centre, Centre for Military Studies) moderates the debate.

The event will be in Danish: Register here [REGISTRATION IS CLOSED]
