ADLER-NISSEN WINS INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARD

REBECCA ADLER-NISSEN, ISA, INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARD

Associate Professor Rebecca Adler-Nissen has just received the internationally acknowledged ISA Award for best publication in its category at a conference in New Orleans.

It is the book "Opting Out of the European Union: Diplomacy, Sovereignty and European Integration" - a thorough analysis of how European countries deal with matters of sovereignty in practice - that has earned Associate Professor Rebecca Adler-Nissen the highly acknowledged prize. The book takes its starting point in the Danish and British opt-outs and employs a political sociological approach.
